TUSTIN, Calif. (Nov. 17, 2008) — Permlight for Signs™, a leading provider of brilliant LED lighting for signs, today announced William “Bill” Hamm has been named vice president of North American sales. Hamm will be responsible for managing all aspects of Permlight for Signs sales, including managing and enhancing relationships with existing customers and establishing new partnerships with distributors, sign companies and major retail accounts.

Hamm joins Permlight for Signs from FRANCE, a division of the Scott Fetzer Company and a manufacturer of neon transformers and ballasts for the sign industry, where he served as director of sales and marketing and vice president of new product development. Prior to FRANCE, Hamm was president of ZAPI, Inc., a manufacturer of electronic speed controllers and associated products for battery-powered vehicles.

Hamm holds a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the International Sign Association (ISA), World Sign Associates (WSA), Mid South Sign Association, Canadian Sign Association, and the United States Sign Council. Hamm resides in Nashville, Tenn., with his family.
