Permlight Products Files Patent Infringement Suit Against USLED
Tustin, Calif, February 20, 2004- Permlight Products announced
today that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against USLED in
the United States District Court for the Central District of
California. The lawsuit alleges that USLED's "The Right White" LED
system infringes Permlight's patent, U.S. Patent No. 6,578,986,
entitled "Modular Mounting Method and Arrangement for Light Emitting
Diodes." The patent is related to Permlight's popular RL, SL, DL, DL2,
DL3, DSL, PaletteLight, PaletteLight MINI and Twister product
families. The complaint requests damages and an injunction against
infringement.
