Permlight Products Files Patent Infringement Suit Against SloanLED
Tustin, Calif, Monday, August 04, 2003/PRNewswire/ -- Permlight Products
announced today that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against
SloanLED in the United States District Court for the Central District of
California. The lawsuit alleges that SloanLED's ChannelLED3 system
infringes Permlight's patent, U.S. Patent No. 6,578,986, entitled
"Modular Mounting Method and Arrangement for Light Emitting Diodes." The
patent is related to Permlight's popular RL, SL, DL, DL2, DL3, DSL, and
Twister product families. The complaint requests damages and an
injunction against infringement.
